After our award win in Colombia, we’ve been awarded another.

Last year, we announced that we had won our latest workplace accolade. We were so happy to be awarded as the Great Place to Work® #1 digital agency in Colombia!

The award meant we have a workplace award in each of our Somo locations: UK, US and Colombia. We’re so proud to be recognised for our culture and fantastic people. Our culture is something we’ve cultivated to be the very best, promoting a collaborative, flexible, and inclusive environment where everyone’s opinion is appreciated.

But now, we have even more great news; Somo has been included in the Great Places to Work® Latin America list! After our fantastic results and award win in Colombia, we’ve been recognised on an even larger scale.

Great Place to Work® is the only company culture award in the world that selects winners based on how fairly employees are treated, how trusted, respected and valued they feel, and how much pride they hold in what they do. Companies go through a rigorous assessment process, where employees score their business across more than 60 statements gauging what the working experience is really like, and how they feel about their work as a whole.

Here’s what our COO, Americas Nick Haywood had to say about our ranking:

As a brand new location for Somo in 2020, our Colombia team has gone from strength to strength. Topping the Great Places to Work in Colombia list last year was an amazing achievement, but now we've gone even bigger! It's incredible to see us listed as one of the top 5 digital agencies in the whole of Latin America, an accolade the whole team thoroughly deserves and goes to show that what we're building here is truly special.

We’re excited to celebrate this new win with our teams, and look forward to sharing more award news with you. Follow us on social media to find out first hand the next big Somo news!
